Double Chocolate Chip Cake

1 TBSP ground flax seed + 1/8 tsp baking powder + 3 TBSP hot water

1-1/2 cups flour

1-1/4 cups unprocessed sugar

3/4 cup milk

1/4 cup sesame seed oil

1-1/2 tsp baking powder

1 tsp vanilla

1/8 tsp mineral salt

1/2 cup milk chocolate chips

1/2 cup white chocolate chips

In small bowl mix together 1 TBSP ground flax seed, 1/8 tsp baking powder and 3 TBSP hot water, stirring occasionally while you prepare other ingredients.

In large mixing bowl add flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir with mixer not turned on to sift ingredients together.

Add unprocessed sugar, sesame seed oil, vanilla, and milk. Mix on slow speed until moistened, then mix on medium-high speed for 1-2 minutes, scraping sides as needed.

Use a spatula to stir in milk chocolate and white chocolate chips.

Butter and flour an 8×11 glass baking dish.

Pour batter into pan and bake at 350° for about 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.

Hi, I just wanted to say that I made this recipe the other day for my kids and they loved it. Wasn’t sure at first about the flax seed but it actually worked. Who knew! Anyway thanks and I will be making this kind from now on.
