Double Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie

My son wanted to make something with me tonight but there weren’t many options. We did have a few things leftover from Thanksgiving that we didn’t use so we improvised and came up with this. Just make sure to start whisking the pudding as soon as you add milk and also don’t whisk too slowly. My son was having fun playing with the pudding mix and milk, so it came out a little bit lumpy but it is still quite yummy. I would rather spend quality time with him than to have a picture perfect pics any day!

I know I keep saying this, but one day I will make pudding from scratch. This is my downfall but I’m ok with that.. for now..

Double Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie

Graham cracker crust

1-1/2 cups chocolate peanut butter (Peanut Butter & Co…yumm)

1/4 cup milk

1 large package of instant chocolate pudding

2-1/2 cups milk

 

In medium bowl blend chocolate peanut butter and 1/4 cup milk on medium speed until smooth.

Spread evenly into graham cracker pie crust.

In large bowl, whisk together pudding mix and 2-1/2 cups milk until slightly thick.

Spread pudding over peanut butter and smooth out.

Refrigerate for a couple hours until firm or overnight.

Serve with whipped topping.
