This video is from the perspective of someone trying to get away from the storms. This is not from the eyes of someone trying to be a ‘storm chaser’
One of the tornadoes just missed my house. Besides tornadoes in El Reno, and S. OKC, there were also tornadoes in Yukon/Mustang, Valley Brook, Del City, Moore, and Norman.
There were people hiding in the car wash because traffic was so backed up.
We were moving fast at this time because the tornado had changed directions again and was coming towards us.
The sky behind me was not darkness, that was the tornado.
Traffic was crazy. We cut through a few neighborhoods and made a couple of our own paths too.
Debris was being kicked up into the air so everyone started driving down the wrong side of the street to get away.
This is right before large debris (sheets of metal and other things) were thrown in front of us and the wind almost picked up the back of my SUV.
The Bible that my son grabbed before we left.
The next day: No power. Cooking breakfast on the grill, trying not to waste food that would go bad in the fridge
